Last Updated: June 5, 2026

Welcome to the Dare to Be Great Foundation ("we," "our," or "us"). We are dedicated to empowering youth in grades K-8 through entrepreneurship education and support. We are equally committed to protecting the privacy of our online visitors, donors, students, and parents.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website. Please read this policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the site.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect on the Website depends on the content and activities you engage in, and includes:

  • Personal Data: Personally identifiable information, such as your name, shipping address, email address, and telephone number, and demographic information, such as your age, gender, hometown, and interests, that you voluntarily give to us when you register with the website, sign up for programs, or choose to participate in various activities related to the website (such as online chat and message boards).

  • Financial Data: Financial information, such as data related to your payment method (e.g., valid credit card number, card brand, expiration date) that we may collect when you make a donation or purchase educational materials. Note: We store only very limited, if any, financial information that we collect. Otherwise, all financial information is stored by our third-party payment processor.

  • Derivative Data: Information our servers automatically collect when you access the website, such as your IP address, your browser type, your operating system, your access times, and the pages you have viewed directly before and after accessing the website.

2. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)

Because our nonprofit focuses on supporting kids in K-8th grade, protecting the privacy of young children is especially important to us.

  • No Collection Without Parental Consent: We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or maintain personal information from children under the age of 13 without verifiable parental or guardian consent.

  • Parental Rights: If a parent or guardian becomes aware that their child has provided us with personal information without their consent, they should contact us immediately. We will take steps to remove such information from our servers right away.

4. Disclosure of Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information with third parties. We may share information we have collected about you in certain situations, which include:
